PawFolio

Data deletion guide

Choose what to remove from PawFolio in Settings. The reset options let you control this device's data and, when iCloud Sync is on, PawFolio's iCloud data.

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Warning: Deletion is permanent and may not be recoverable. Read the in-app confirmation carefully. Other devices with iCloud Sync enabled may lose their copies or upload data to iCloud again.

Other devices using iCloud Sync

An iCloud reset removes PawFolio's iCloud zones, but other devices signed in to the same iCloud account may still have local copies. If sync remains enabled on those devices, they may lose data as the deletion synchronizes or upload their copies to iCloud again. To prevent a copy from being uploaded again, turn off PawFolio iCloud Sync on other devices before resetting iCloud, then review those devices separately.

PawFolio has no separate PawFolio account or PawFolio-hosted account database. The reset options cover PawFolio's local app data and its iCloud zones. They do not delete items you separately saved in Apple Photos, Calendar, Music, or other Apple services; manage those items with the relevant service.

Delete only image caches

To remove downloaded image caches without resetting your records, use Settings → Services → Clear cache and reset local data → Delete Image Cache. This does not delete journal entries or original images stored elsewhere.

Email danicarrero92@gmail.com. Include which reset scope you chose and whether iCloud Sync was on. Avoid sending private pet records or sensitive screenshots unless needed.

Optional household sharing

The household owner can stop sharing from Profile → Sharing. This removes other people’s access while retaining the owner’s records. Resetting the owner’s PawFolio iCloud data can also affect shared access. Reset choices delete this account’s PawFolio zones, not another owner’s shared household. Copies already exported or saved outside PawFolio are not deleted by stopping sharing or resetting the app.
